TestDirector Defects Synchronizer for Rational ClearQuest Add-in

The TestDirector Defects Synchronizer for Rational ClearQuest Add-in organizes the transfer of defect data between TestDirector and ClearQuest. This enables you to manage defects using the most suitable tool for your needs.

Note: To work with the Synchronizer, your client machine must meet the minimum requirements and recommendations for a Rational Desktop System. For more information, refer to the Rational Software Desktop Products Installation Guide.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Install a ClearQuest Windows client on your TestDirector client machine. Check that both clients are communicating successfully with their servers. (Note that even if you are working with a ClearQuest Web client, you must install a ClearQuest Windows client to work with the Synchronizer.)
  2. Click Download Add-in to download and install the Synchronizer on your client machine. Note that to install this add-in, you must log in with administrator privileges.
  3. Install the TestDirector Connectivity Add-in on your TestDirector client machine. For more information, refer to the TestDirector Add-ins page.

Versions supported: Rational ClearQuest 2002, 2003, and 2003 Service Release 4 with TestDirector 8.0 Enterprise Edition SP2.
