The
TestDirector Defects Synchronizer for Merant PVCS Tracker Add-in organizes the transfer of defect data between TestDirector and PVCS. This enables you to manage defects using the most suitable tool for your needs. Installation Instructions:
- Install a PVCS Windows client and a TestDirector client on the same machine. Check that both clients are communicating successfully with their servers.
(Note that even if you are working with a PVCS Web client, you must install a PVCS Windows client in order to work with the Synchronizer.)
- Uninstall any previous versions of the TestDirector Defects Synchronizer for PVCS Tracker add-in. To uninstall, choose Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and follow the instructions on your screen.
- Click Download Add-in to download
and install the Synchronizer on your client machine. Note that to install
this add-in, you must log in with administrator privileges.

Install the TestDirector Connectivity Add-in on your TestDirector client machine. For more information,
