The Rational
ClearCase Version Control Add-in enables you to create a version
control project in TestDirector. You can update and revise your manual,
WinRunner, QuickTest Professional, Astra QuickTest, or VAPI-XP tests,
while maintaining previous versions of each test. This allows you to keep
track of the changes made to each test in your TestDirector project, see
how and when a test was modified, or return to a previous version of the
test.
Important Notes:
- TestDirector 8.0 SP2 users: If you have version control-enabled projects that were created in a previous version of TestDirector and you did not install Patch 25, you must also run the TestDirector ClearCase Migration Tool.
- TestDirector 8.0 SP1 users: Refer to the TestDirector Knowledge Base (http://support.mercury.com) and search for Problem ID 30917 to determine whether you need to install Patch 25 for this add-in. For more information, contact Mercury Interactive Customer Support.

Installation Instructions:
- Install Rational ClearCase client on your TestDirector
server machine.
- Uninstall any previous versions of this add-in. To uninstall,
choose Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove
Programs and follow
the instructions on your screen.

ClearCase Version Control Add-in Guide to review additional important installation instructions.
- Click Download Add-in to download and install this add-in on your TestDirector server machine.
Note that to install this add-in, you must log in with administrator
privileges.
